Picture of Sock Hats for Gracie!

Here are the sock hats I have knitted so far! The one Bitty is wearing is for my niece, Emi!

John's Scarf...

Here is what I've done so far! I still have 16-26 inches to go, depending on how long he wants it to be.

This One Explains A Lot!

This picture reveals the reason for the fear on Matthew's face in my previous post! My dad labeled this one "Kids in 1983 choking Matthew."

Fun Old Pics...

My dad sent these pictures of me with my brothers to John today. I thought they were worth sharing. Hope you enjoy!

This about sums up a typical trip to Walmart. We are on the once a week grocery shopping plan, so sometimes John stays with the kids so I can make this trip by myself. Although, I do have to say, taking the kids shopping has taught them a lot about saving money by looking at how much things cost! And as you can see, it also allows us to just have fun being silly together!

My Newest Hobby!

Well, I am hoping to get some new fun pictures of the kids on here, because those are the most fun. For today though, I am going to share the pictures John took of me during the last session of knitting class last night. This was a beginner knitters class that met three times and last night we finished our sock hats! John and Kenzie came in to watch me work on the hat for the last half hour or so of the class. Mason was not so into knitting and passed the time reading a magazine. The first picture is taken when I am finishing the hat. The second is not a very good picture, but shows the finished product!

Homeschooling...Back In Session!

Well, we have almost made it through our first week back to the books. Mason's curriculum has arrived, we are just waiting on my favorite addition to his studies...are you former USJ-ers ready for this??? I ordered The Word Within The Word by Michael Clay Thompson for Mason to use as his vocabulary! Funny how excited I was to find this online, when I am quite certain I did not love it this much when I took it, but it did teach me a lot. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a great start to the new year! Hopefully fun pictures to come!
