Winter Weather

We got a couple inches of snow/sleet last Friday and Saturday. Here is a picture of how the kids enjoyed the weather. Kenzie went out and tried to have fun in it, but the sleet was packed tight and she didn't last long out there! With crummy weather, we enjoyed a relaxing weekend eating dinner with friends and playing the Wii! Also included in this post are a few pictures John took as the ice was melting on Sunday. That ice did not want to go away! Monday we went for a run and all of us, including Scout, spent much of our run slipping around on and crunching through the packed ice. Though there is still ice on the houses and in the grass, most of it has melted off the streets and sidewalks. Those of us here in the Felkins' house all agree that if it is going to be cold, then we expect a big snow...otherwise, we are ready for spring and summer!
