Memphis Friends #1...

I was looking through my pictures today and reminiscing on how much fun my Memphis friends are! I had lots of pics to post and so as not to overload the blogger, or the reader, I am going to make it into a series of posts. Hope you enjoy! This post consists of some fun road trip pics! These pictures were taken on different trips to St. Louis, Utah and Pickwick.
This was our first Memphis trip to Utah. We were in a habit of going twice a year and staying at Curt's cousin's house. Many fun times have been had on the slopes out there with some of my favorite people!!!

Because I am OCD, I am trying to follow these in chronological order. This picture was taken on the St. Louis road trip where we stayed with Mama Sue and Big Bad Brad as Hannah likes to refer to her parents! We saw a Cards game! Jane, Matt, MD, Jason, Chuck and Han!

On a different ski trip in Utah...the last one I went on...hoping to go again in the future with this fun crowd and bring along some fun additions to that ski crowd! This is Hannah and Curt on the way to the slopes at the Canyons.

Saturday Night, June 17

I wanted to get all the pictures in, so there are three separate, but new posts below. Our party Saturday night was at the Rowland's! It was nice weather until a storm decided to roll in on us. They hurried us through the food line as you can see here so we could eat before we all got soaked.

I was so excited to have Whit and Brooke (two of my bridesmaids) at both of my wedding party weekends! These girls are troopers!!!

Friday Night, June 16

Mom and Cil look like they are having fun. Oh yes, and who can forget the fish. I thought it would be good for Kenz to spend some time with our wedding coordinator...bad idea, as she told Kenz she could have some of the fish from the party! John was so excited about that.

Father's Day Catch

We headed out after our party Saturday night in a terrible storm and about five miles down the road turned around and headed back to my parents' house. Justus and Bill (John's dad) got up early Sunday morning and went fishing. Just before lunch time Justus came running down the road screaming and hollering and holding the biggest live bass I have ever seen! Needless to say, I know you will all be jealous as we are having the pretty thing mounted! The fish weighed 7lbs 11oz and was 22 inches long (sounds like a baby announcement). Justus was completely beside himself and John and Bill ran around the rest of the morning getting everything together to transport the fish to Memphis!

Wedding Party Fun!

We had our first weekend of wedding parties this past weekend! Friday night was the bachelorette party which my 3 best friends from high school gave...I loved it!!! This is of mom and I by Whitney's front door.

Saturday was spent hanging out by the pool at my parents', dress fitting, more pool time and opening presents. Here is Mim and her beautiful little girl, Annie, on Annie's first swim.

Not sure what I was doing here...but evidently lime green shirts were in order for unwrapping gifts! For those who noticed the blank wall behind me and were wondering if my mom is downsizing...the answer is no, the player piano is having surgery!
Annie enjoyed helping unwrap gifts, but playing with the paper was her favorite thing! She was keeping us on our toes!














Saturday night we had another party for my mom's friends and were greatly encouraged and entertained by the stories we heard that night. This was our first couples party. John is such a hottie! You'll have to ask me to tell you about the funniest story we heard that night...it is totally worth retelling!
